BMW N63 & S63 4.4l V8 Turbocharged Tuning

VAST is pleased to announce its release of BMW N63 & S63 engine calibrations for Stage 1 all the way through Stage 3 turbocharger upgrades and full bolt ons and even E85 blends. 

We recommend our colder, VAST pre-gapped, BMW spark plug in addition to any tuning for your V8 twin turbocharged motor.  During the tuning process, we have also found compromised items such as incorrectly reading mass air flow sensors, leaky pcv systems and turbocharger plumbing. Carbon cleaning is a secondary item to address in higher mileage vehicles past 100k miles. 

Typical Stage 1 gains are 65hp/60ft-lbs of torque and Stage 2 gains are 95hp/90ft-lbs of torque. Results may be even better with good bolt ons, quality fuel, no carbon buildup in intake, etc. Stage 3 will depend much more on your turbo choice and other bolt ons and fueling. With multiple pulls, heat soak is a factor and items such as methanol injection and intercooling upgrades will offset this. We even offer a custom high flow pump option for your intercooler system heat exchange system and we can delete your lower flowing pump altogether in the tuning.

We do recommend our VAST Transmission computer (TCU/TCM) calibrations to make the most of the power band of your engine. 

We are able to tune all of the N63/S63 engine computers from the early release Continental MSD81 to the Bosch, water cooled, twin ECU MEVD17. Some computers do require a bench mode tune, depending on the flash protocols available.
