VAST is pleased to present a base step up of 30hp and 45t/lbs of torque for the W12 6.3L FSI engine in the D4 platform. We are confident to say that our tune is one of the strongest W12 variants in the country. It is fully tailored to the environment we are flashing it in. We optimize every tune we create for the hardware, gasoline, and climate the vehicle is operating in.
Please note, we also recommend our custom TIPtronic tuning for your ZF 8 Speed. There are many gains to be seen with rpm ranges of your torque band as well as faster and more firm shifts as well as allowing the transmission calibration to accept the higher transmitted torque values from the engine side.
Please consider our VAST colder spark plugs for the W12 and also for any custom Stage 2 tuning, pricing may vary depending on your build and the time it takes to develop the tuning. Expect another 40hp gain with full Stage 2.
Also please note, the W12 FSI uses twin Bosch MED17 engine computers in a Master/Slave fashion.
Our aggressive optimization of a more controlled and targeted fuel curve for power and safety, demanded load control and ignition timing brings up airflow gains unrealized in factory form in order to take full advantage of a normally aspirated motor.
We are able to bench or port flash these files through the OBD port in without the need to remove the ECU. We can also create a backup image(extra charge) of the engine computer to keep on hand for you in case you ever have hardware issues down the road.
