Audi B8 S4 / S5 & 1st Gen Q7 / Q5 & C7 A6 / A7 & D4 A8 3.0T Engine Tuning

VAST is pleased to present a base step up of 80hp and 125t/lbs of torque for the 3.0T in the B8, C7, D4, Q5 & Q7 platforms. We are confident to say that our tune is one of the strongest 3.0 TFSI variants in the country. It is fully tailored to the environment we are flashing it in. We optimize every tune we create for the hardware, gasoline, and climate the vehicle is operating in.

Expect an additional 40-60hp when updating your pulley system and intake with Stage 2/Stage 2+ vehicles. 

We do recommend a lower crankshaft pulley replacement to get rid of the failure prone 2-piece design that Audi had installed.

Various engine models also include the new secondary port injection vehicles such as the EVO 3.0T supercharged motor (engine code CREC, replacing the early CTUB, CTUD, etc.) 

Please consider colder spark plugs for the 3.0T and also for any custom Stage 2+ tuning, pricing may vary depending on your build. We have also successfully tuned full E85 conversions on the 3.0T so be sure to inquire about updating your engine and fueling in order to extract the most potential with this fuel option. 

Our aggressive optimization of a more controlled and targeted fuel curve for power and safety, demanded load control and ignition timing brings up airflow gains unrealized in factory form in order to take full advantage of a normally aspirated motor. 

Please note, we also recommend our custom VAST S-Tronic or TIPtronic tuning for your direct gear shift transmissions or ZF 8 Speeds. There are many gains to be seen with rpm ranges of your torque band as well as faster and more firm shifts as well as allowing the transmission calibration to accept the higher transmitted torque values from the engine side. 

 

We are able to bench or port flash these files through the OBD port in without the need to remove the ECU. We can also create a backup image(extra charge) of the engine computer to keep on hand for you in case you ever have hardware issues down the road.

We are able to deliver substantial power gains with smoother than factory timing and fuel maps.

- At this time, all tuning must be performed at VAST Performance or you may ship your engine computer in for bench flashing and we can ship it back to you.
